Empowering Our Network: Ecovision Contractor Training Session

Contractors attending an Ecovision training session with the BCR Comply app

On 11 April 2025, Ecovision brought contractors together for an in-person training session focused on practical skills, stronger communication, and consistently high standards across every project.

The energy in the room reflected something we strongly believe: a network is at its best when people learn, share experience, and improve together. This session was more than a training day - it was an investment in the people who deliver Ecovision projects and in the quality, professionalism, and compliance their clients expect.

Thank you to the organising team

A successful training day takes careful planning and a strong understanding of the challenges contractors face on site. A special thank you to Marcella, Martin, and Tom for organising and facilitating such a smooth and productive session. Their work allowed everyone attending to focus fully on learning, collaboration, and practical improvement.

What the training covered

The day focused on four key areas designed to support contractors in their daily work.

Getting more from the BCR Comply app

Contractors explored how to use the BCR Comply app for real-time reporting, digital sign-offs, and accurate site documentation. By capturing information directly in the app, teams reduce manual paperwork, avoid delays, and make sure the correct records are available exactly when they are needed.

More efficient on-site job management

The session covered practical ways to improve coordination between trades, organise materials more effectively, and reduce avoidable downtime. Clearer communication and better planning keep projects moving, even when circumstances on site change.

The importance of visual evidence

High-quality photographic evidence plays an important role in project validation and compliance. Contractors were guided through the requirements for clear, useful, and properly recorded images that capture the key stages of the work - creating a reliable project record, supporting approvals, and providing clear evidence of the quality delivered.

Practical tips for day-to-day work

The training also included straightforward advice to help contractors manage everyday tasks more efficiently: using digital checklists, grouping administrative tasks, and reducing unnecessary phone calls and paperwork - giving teams more time to focus on the work itself.

Supporting better project oversight

The information captured through the BCR Comply app connects directly with the wider Ecovision project management process. Accurate forms, site updates, digital sign-offs, and photographic evidence give the office team clearer visibility over every project, supporting:

Faster review and approval processes - more efficient client reporting - better communication between office and site teams - more complete project records - and a smoother payment process for contractors.

By following a consistent process across every project, quality and compliance become part of the everyday workflow.

Moving forward together

Training sessions like this strengthen the contractor network, improve project delivery, and maintain the standards that clients rely on. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and shared their experience on the day - we look forward to continuing to learn, improve, and deliver high-quality energy-upgrade projects together.
